Alliance for a Living Ocean (ALO)
Established over 25 years ago, ALO's efforts since October 2012 have focused on New Jersey coastal water and beach cleanup through public action and involvement.  Even though Hurricane Sandy destroyed ALO's Long Beach Island office it continues its mission "to promote and maintain clean water and a healthy coastal environment through education and action."

High Point Volunteer Fire Company
Since 1937, High Point VFC primarily has served the emergency needs of Harvey Cedars, Loveladies, and North Beach while assisting the other fire departments on Long Beach Island and providing community outreach through annual fundraising events.

Hometown Heroes
Headquartered in Toms River, NJ, this established 501c(3) maintains a dedicated "Hurricane Sandy Fund" to provide need-based assistance to families throughout Ocean and Monmouth counties.

Restore the Shore
This ongoing effort assists Jersey Shore residents as they recover from the devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy.  Restore the Shore was established to create awareness, gather donations and raise funds for the relief effort at the Jersey Shore through Hometown Heroes.
